Grand opening set for Rosalia grocery

Rosalia Horizons project will sponsor a grand opening celebration for the renovated Rosalia Empire Foods grocery store Friday, Aug. 28, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Garth and Song Hill of Spokane opened the renovated store Aug. 10 after Rosalia had been without a grocery since last November.

The Hills formerly operated a store in Spokane. He is an Air Force retiree with 20 years of service.

Horizons plans to provide free hot drinks and hot dogs during the grand opening which will also mark the conclusion of Phase III of their economic development project. They will also sponsor a drawing for $25 gift certificates.
