    Milton L. Nelson, 79, of Thornton, Wash., passed away September 29, 2019, at Whitman Health and Rehab in Colfax, Washington. Milton was born July 1, 1940, in Spokane, to Chet & Alverda (Kerns) Nelson. He grew up in the Thornton area and attended grade school there. He graduated from Rosalia High School in 1958. Milton was active in the National Guard through the years and learned the crafts of welding and soldering while serving in the Guard.     Bob J. Duncan, 82, passed away on September 14, 2019, in Colfax, Wash., at Whitman Health and Rehab after a long illness. Bob was born August 27, 1937, in Oklahoma and lived in Lewiston, Idaho; Oakesdale, Pullman, and Colfax, Washington. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diana, his parents, his brother and three sisters, and a granddaughter. Surviving are two daughters, two sons, and their spouses; six grandsons; a granddaughter-in-law and two great granddaughters. A private memorial service is planned for the family.
