    PALOUSE — Kennedy Cook of Garfield-Palouse has been named one of the WIAA Athlete’s Of The Week for week 36. Kennedy Cook earned the recognition after her performance at the track and field districts meet, which took place in Colfax, Washington last week. At the event, Cook led the lady Vikings to a 1B District 7/9 championship as she competed in the 200m, 400m, and was the anchor for the 4 X 200m and 4 X 400m race.     PULMAN — The Pullman Greyhounds girls have won state for tennis in the WIAA 2A state tournament. This is the first time that the Greyhounds have won a team state championship for tennis, and was the second consecutive year that the Greyhounds had people medal in all four events, boys and girls singles and doubles.     TUMWATER — After the conclusion of the WIAA 1B and 2B state golf tournament in Tumwater, Washington, Northwest Christian had a golfer finish first overall on the boys side, and the girls side saw a Tekoa-Rosalia golfer finish seventh. Dan Harrington was the winner of the boys state golf tournament over the weekend in Tumwater with an overall score of 153, taking first place by four strokes.     The Bulldogs competed over the weekend in the WIAA 2B state track and field meet in Yakima, Washington. For the boys, there were three representatives from the Bulldogs who helped earn Colfax 23rd overall in state. Zachary Cooper competed in the 110m hurdles, pole vault, and 100m dash.     COLFAX –– The Colfax Bulldogs went out in the WIAA 2B State Tournament early after they lost to Northwest Christian 9-0 in the first game Saturday in the loser's bracket. They advanced to that game by winning their opening round game Friday 11-10 against the Raymond-South Bend Seagulls.
