    Jennifer Scharffer, daughter of Bob and Roxanne Scharffer, St. John, and Tyler Lind, son of Bryan and Wendy Lind, Lewiston, have announced their engagement. A graduate of St. John/Endicott High School, Jennifer received a degree in dietetics last spring from the University of Idaho. She is currently working at Gritman Medical Center in Moscow, and Tri-State Hospital in Clarkston. Tyler graduated from Grangeville High School and now works for Joe Yochum Construction in Lewiston.     The town of Palouse is now selecting an engineer to tackle the town’s comprehensive water system plan. The town seeks to develop an extensive water system plan that will map out water infrastructure, pinpoint future city water projects and detail past water projects.     Margaret Wilma Gilliam Funeral services for Margaret Wilma Gilliam, 92, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Princeton Church of the Nazarene. Burial was at the Potlatch Cemetery. She died March 7, 2011. She had resided at Good Samaritan Village in Moscow since June 2008. Born at Potlatch, Aug. 31, 1918, to William and Elsie Elder Minden, she and her older sister, Clarice, graduated from Potlatch High School in 1936.
