Commissioners move signing contract

COLFAX –– County Commissioners moved signing a 2025-2026 joint cooperative agreement with the local agricultural burn permitting program contract with several conservation districts to Monday, Dec. 30.

During the Monday, Dec. 16, regular business meeting commissioner Swannack brought forth the tentative contract signing stating that he thought they needed to do each district separately rather than as one motion.

Commissioners discussed multiple districts with more than one document to sign including Palouse Conservation District, Rock Lake Conservation District and Pine Creek Conservation.
