Nighthawks win their last three games

OAKESDALE - The Oakesdale Nighthawks boys basketball team is officially on a winning streak, having won three games in a row over the course of last week.
The Nighthawks defeated the Waitsburg Cardinals, 80-19, on Friday, Dec. 13, before beating the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse (SJEL) Eagles, 73-34, on Saturday, Dec. 14. The Nighthawks then defeated the Colton Wildcats, 67-38, on Monday, Dec. 16.
Against Waitsburg, Oakesdale built a 19-4 lead to end the first quarter and led 42-7 at halftime. The Nighthawks gained a 69-14 lead at the end of the third quarter before winning, 80-19.
