T-wolves girls play close matchups

TEKOA - The Tekoa-Rosalia girls basketball team found themselves on both sides of a two-point decision in its last two games.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the Timberwolves rallied in the final quarter against the Dayton Bulldogs, but fell just short and lost the game, 49-47. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, the Timberwolves defeated the Valley Christian Panthers, 39-37.

Against the Bulldogs, it was a close matchup throughout the first half. At the end of the first quarter, Tekoa-Rosalia had a 16-12 lead, and at halftime the Timberwolves led, 22-19.
