Vikings defeat Colton, Waitsburg, fall to Colfax, Asotin

PALOUSE - Playing a pair of 2B opponents in the first four games of the season, the Garfield-Palouse (Gar-Pal) Vikings boys basketball team has two wins and two losses.
Gar-Pal opened the season with a 75-51 loss against last season's 2B State undefeated champions, the Colfax Bulldogs, on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The Vikings held their own against the State champs early in the game. Junior Lane Collier hit a 3-pointer and senior Bryce Pfaff had two buckets from outside the 3-point line early in the opening quarter to keep pace with the Bulldogs. At the end of the first quarter, Colfax led, 17-13.
