"Little Women" hits Oakesdale stage

Students and staff perform in Dec. 4 showing

OAKESDALE - The High School Drama Class put on a showing of the Lousia May Alcott novel "Little Women," on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The story, published in 1868, was written by Louisa May Alcott, an American novelist and is about four sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, as they grow up during the American Civil War.

Jenna Ruals depicted Meg March, the first sister to get married to John Brooke, played by Adam Scott, much to Jo's dismay. Grace DeMeerleer was cast to play Jo.
