Greyhounds girls soccer bests Clarkston

PULLMAN - Senior Amelia Cobos scored off a corner kick in the 64th minute to break the tie and the Pullman Greyhounds defeated the Clarkston Bantams, 3-2, on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Clarkston's Rebecca Skinner opened the scoring in the eighth minute from a penalty kick. Pullman answered in the 20th minute when freshman Vicky Villarino scored from the assist by junior Sidney Johnson.

Pullman junior Olivia Whitworth scored in the 30th minute on the assist by freshman Agui Villarino to give a halftime score of 2-1 in favor of the Greyhounds.
