Colfax Bulldogs battle on the court

COLFAX - Continuing the fall volleyball season, the Colfax Bulldogs defeated the Asotin Panthers in four sets on Tuesday, Oct. 1, then fell to the Liberty (Spangle) Lancers in five sets on Thursday, Oct. 3.

Against Asotin, the Bulldogs won, 3-1, with set scores of 25-15, 21-25, 25-12 and 25-14.

Colfax senior Ava Swan led the Bulldogs with 21 kills, three aces and 16 digs. Fellow senior Brenna Gilchrist had nine kills, two aces and 16 digs.

Junior Cianna Gibb notched 35 assists, three aces, 16 digs and one block. Fellow junior Isabella Huntley had a team-high 20 digs.
