Opposed to turbines

As farmers and residents in the Kamiak area, we oppose the proposed Harvest Hills wind project. We need to produce clean, reliable energy, but this project doesn’t justify the drawbacks.

The viewshed would be changed forever. 45 turbines over 600 feet tall would be visible from all over the Palouse, including Kamiak. There is also the matter of substation and transmission infrastructure that hasn’t been addressed yet.
