Rosalia runaway found

ROSALIA — The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office found and returned a 13-year-old runaway home on Aug. 2.

The Sheriff’s Office was seeking information on 13-year-old, Rylee Morkve, last week. She had last been seen at the Oakesdale City Pool at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31.

According to a Facebook post there was no indication that Morkve was taken against her will and the officers’ investigation indicated that she was staying with unidentified acquaintances in Spokane.

The Sheriff’s shared an update that they had found Morkve on Friday, Aug. 2, and she was safe and being returned home....
