$80,000 awarded to Whitman County organizations

COLFAX — The Innovia Foundation has awarded $1,089,400 in grants to 112 organizations in Eastern Washington and North Idaho through its annual Community Grants Program.

A total of $80,000 was distributed to organizations in Whitman County, including a $10,000 grant to the Community Action Center to develop an affordable home community for six low-income families in Rosalia.

Another $10,000 grant to the Downtown Pullman Association will fund the effort to sustain business revenues downtown while new infrastructure is built.
