Mike Day holds Battle Days raffle

ROSALIA – Local denizen Mike Day is gearing up for Rosalia’s Battle Days celebration with his annual raffle.

Day puts on the raffle every year for the town’s summer event, receiving donations from local businesses and residents for the prize pool. This year, Battle Days will be held on June 1.

The funds accrued from the raffle are donated to local businesses to help keep money in the community. Last year, Mr. Day raised over $500 and donated the funds to the Rosalia CommUnity Church. This year’s recipients will be the Tekoa-Rosalia schools’ sports programs.
