Districts propose levies for November election

COLFAX — Several district levies are proposed for this year’s General Election set for Tuesday, Nov. 7, regarding schools, parks and Recreation, fire district, and cemetery.
LACROSSE
LaCrosse School District No. 126 board of directors proposed a replacement capital levy to modernize, renovate, and improve school facilities.
The $366,666 levy is estimated at $1.43 per $1,000 for collection in 2024, $1.40 for 2025, and $1.37 for 2026, and funds will be used to modernize, renovate, improve, and repair existing school facilities, including acquiring and installing technology equipment and...
