Family Gospel Quartet to play in Colfax Sunday

COLFAX — The Church of the Nazarene will host Family Gospel Quartet “The Craguns” Sunday, May 21, at 6 p.m., 1103 North Morton Street.

Church of the Nazarene Office Secretary Donna VanTine explained that The Craguns are part of the Church of the Nazarene and have been coming there for several years, once a year, usually around May.

The family does full-time concert ministry and now includes their children in singing, VanTine said.

The Craguns group comprises husband and wife, Jordan and Elena Cragun, Jordan’s father, Ray Cragun, and Jordan’s sister Savannah Cragun.

Jordan has been singing professionally since 2008; his father was a pastor for over 25 years.

In 2013 The Craguns were led to take on a musical journey, on which they have become known across the country and national touring group.

They’ve toured from coast to coast and different parts of the world full-time.

The Craguns have performed for millions of people on the main stage of the National Quartet Convention, The Blue Gate Theater, Silver Dollar City, and Daystar Television, for example.

Everyone is welcome to attend, and the concert is free to the public, but donations are well received.

“Anybody that comes will leave encouraged and feeling a sense of the Lord’s presence,” VanTine said.
