Colfax Youth League Breakfast

COLFAX - The Rotary Club hosted its annual Little League Breakfast Saturday, May 6, at Colfax High School.

Rotary Club Treasurer Bob Lothspeich stated that this year the club brought in a little over $5,900 before expenses, with 330 people in attendance.

"That was not as high as some years," Lothspeich stated about the attendance, but he noted they were happy with it.

Lothspeich mentioned that the club has numerous new members, so the fundraiser was a great opportunity for all the new members to interact with one another and the community.

"It's a fun event for us," he said.

The club plans future fundraisers, including the funnel cake booth and Thelma's Frozen Lemonade at the fair, Lothspeich explained, adding that they also provide a fireworks booth for the baseball and softball teams sell at the end of June through the Fourth of July at Rosauers.
