Several Whitman County seniors receive $500 dollar scholarships

COLFAX — Whitman County locals received scholarships from the Bank of Eastern Washington high school senior scholarship recipients.

$500 scholarships went to Washington seniors from Colfax High School, Cadence Monson, Jonathan Peterson, and Olivia Ng. From LaCrosse High School, senior Wyatt Schwartz also received a $500 scholarship.

The scholarship goes to students planning to enroll in agriculture or business in college, and recipients are judged based on scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.
