Wildcats lose to DeSales

COLTON -The Wildcats faced the Irish in a home-game doubleheader on Thursday, March 30.
Colton lost both games, 14-0 and 15-0.
With the win, DeSales upgraded to an 8-0 Win streak for the season. With the defeat, Colton falls to a 0-2 on the season.
DeSales took the lead in the first inning of the first game, scoring eight runs. DeSales made 14 runs in the game, with Braeden McCauley and Saul Sisk taking home the most runs.
Neither team scored any runs in the second inning, but DeSales was up another run in the third.
The game ended after the fifth inning securing the five more runs DeSales gained.
The second game also ended after the fifth inning.
DeSales started the game with ten runs. The Irish continued the trend, scoring two more runs in the second inning.
Colton struggled behind, gaining zero runs in both games.
DeSales picked up another three runs between the fourth and fifth innings.
Colton has not yet posted the individual statistics of the players.
The Colton Wildcats Varsity Baseball team will play against Pomeroy on Monday, April 10, in another doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
