TEKOA - Tekoa Elementary school hosted its annual children's musical this past week at Empire Theater.
The cast comprised students from Tekoa Elementary from grades four through six.
Tammy Mendoza, the 5th and 6th-grade science teacher, directed the play and organized regularly scheduled daily practices.
"We've been working on the play for half an hour every day since September," she said.
Auditions begin in the fall, and students can audition for specific parts or participate as tech crew members.
