COLFAX — Whitman County District Court reported the following criminal conviction sentences from Feb. 3 to Feb.

• Salamjohn Bassett pled guilty to possession of stolen property in the third degree. Therefore the defendant is adjudged guilty and sentenced to a deferred sentence for 12 months on the following conditions 180 days in jail, 179 suspended, with no fines. The defendant must serve a total of one day in jail and probation to be served as scheduled by the probation office. The defendant must pay restitution of $100 to the victim. The defendant must not have any criminal violations of law. Supervised probation for 12 months, and a $50 monthly probation fee unless the fee is reduced by the probation department. The defendant shall complete 40 hours of community service as scheduled or verified by the probation office.
