Nighthawks beat ailing Wildcats

COLTON - Coming off a four-game skid that included two of the top 10 1B boys basketball teams in the state, the Oakesdale Nighthawks traveled to Colton on Jan. 20 looking for a win against a flu-ridden and injured Colton Wildcats team. Oakesdale came out with the win in dominant fashion, defeating Colton 66-25.

"I think tonight we largely came in and the effort and focus was there," Oakesdale head coach Carl Crider said. "After having lost our last four, I said 'We got to find a way to get back in the (win) column.' And definitely having an aggressive mindset was part of that."
