TEKOA – Jenkins (Chewelah) High School traveled down to Tekoa on Dec. 29 to face the Tekoa-Rosalia girls basketball team.

The Lady Timberwolves were searching for their first win of the season against the Cougars, but ultimately couldn't get it – falling 64-17 to the visitors.

Both teams started relatively slow in the opening stages of the game. Jenkins held the early 4-0 advantage over Tekoa-Rosalia with 4:34 to go in the first quarter, before proceeding to more-than-double its point total in the following minute to go up 9-0.
