Eagles dominate Timberwolves in league contest

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse holds Tekoa-Rosalia to under 20 in win.

TEKOA - St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse's girls basketball team traveled to Tekoa on Dec. 16 hoping to improve on their then-1-2 record against league rival Tekoa-Rosalia.

Both teams struggled to find the basket in the opening minutes, with the Eagles holding a narrow 2-1 lead over the Timberwolves with 4:35 left in the opening quarter.

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse found its offense in the remaining time in the frame, going on a 15-2 run and going into the second quarter holding a 17-3 lead.
