COLFAX - After beating the Asotin Panthers 69-33 on Dec. 16, the Colfax boys basketball team had a more competitive matchup against the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos on Dec. 17 that came down to the very last possession.

Both teams couldn't find separation from each other in the early-goings of the contest and found themselves tied at five points apiece with 3:50 to go in the opening quarter.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague ended up taking a narrow 13-12 lead at the end of the first quarter and went on to add one more point to its lead in the opening minute of the second quarter to take a 16-14 lead....
