COLFAX – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Dec. 7 to Dec. 12

Dec. 7

11:16 a.m.- South Crosby Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to a welfare check.

11:50 a.m.- North Morton Street, Colfax. Deputy requested a case for a DARE presentation.

12:02 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. Sheriff’s Front Office updated the information for a registered sex offender.

1:23 p.m.- Farmington Road and East D Dixon Road, Farmington. Sheriff responded to a one vehicle non injury accident.

2:28 p.m.- Whelan Road and McGreevy Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to an abandoned vehicle, the vehicle was tagged.

5:13 p.m.- West Liberty Street, St. John. Deputy responded to a theft report.

7:22 p.m.- South Montgomery Street, Uniontown. Deputy responded to a theft report, and all involved parties were contacted.

8:08 p.m.- Kamerrer Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a dog bite.

9:41 p.m.- East Upton Street and North Main Street, Colfax. Arron J. King, 26, of Spokane was cited and released.

Dec. 8

1:38 a.m.- SR 195 and Bennett Road, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number for a traffic violation.

8:11 a.m.- North 3rd Street, Garfield Palouse Middle School, Garfield. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

8:29 a.m.- Palouse Cove Road, Palouse. Deputy received a report of a possible trespass, the call was handled by the Palouse PD.

10:48 a.m.- East Woodworth Street, Uniontown. Deputy received a report of a possible order violation.

11:31 a.m.- South Josephine Avenue, Rosalia High School, Rosalia. Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

11:45 a.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 20, Colton. Deputy received a report of a cow that is close to the river.

2:10 p.m.- Shahan Road and Scholz Road, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number.

4:21 p.m..- South Whitman Avenue, Rosalia. Deputy requested a case number.

4:26 p.m.- North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number.

4:34 p.m.- Winona South Road, LaCrosse. Deputy received a report of a vehicle partially blocking the roadway, the Deputy responded and contacted the driver of the vehicle.

5:55 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 39, Colfax. Deputy received a report of a vehicle passing illegally, the Deputy responded and contacted the driver of the vehicle.

6:02 p.m.- Pat Old Road and Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy received a report of a vehicle versus deer accident.

9:38 p.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 14, Colton. Deputy responded to a report of a cow in the roadway.

Dec. 9

5:37 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa Care Center, Tekoa. Sheriff’s Office received a report from a confused resident.

9:01 a.m.- SR 270 and Sunshine Road, ¾ mile from 270 on sunshine, Pullman. Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a non-injury accident.

10:55 a.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Colfax. Sheriff’s Office registered a sex offender that was just getting released from jail.

11:29 a.m.- Country Club Road, Pullman. Deputies responded to a report of a non-injury rollover accident.

12:06 p.m.- 34402 SR 195, Huber Action, Colfax. Deputies assisted the Colfax PD with a stop.

3:03 p.m.- North Lindsey Street, Tekoa. Deputies received a report of a nuisance call.

9:14 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 42, Colfax. Deputy requested a case number for a call.

9:24 p.m.- North Clark Avenue, LaCrosse. Deputies arrested and booked Gregory NJ, into the Whitman County jail for attempted theft of property first degree and trespassing.

Dec. 10

1:41 a.m.- SR 27 and Viola Road, Palouse. Deputies received a report of a vehicle stuck in a snowdrift. A tow company was called to remove the vehicle.

4:08 a.m.- Beeson Cut Off Road and Viola Road, Palouse. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in the snow. The occupants were give a courtesy transport back to Pullman.

6:36 p.m.- Pullman Albion Road, Pullman. Deputies received a report of a non-injury slide off. A private party was able to free the vehicle.

7:04 a.m.- Beeson Cut Off Road, Palouse. Deputies responded to a report of two vehicle stuck in a snow drift.

8:59 a.m.- Northeast Merman Drive, 429A towards entrance by trash cans, Pullman. Deputies assisted the Pullman PD with a call.

9:10 a.m.- Pullman Airport Road and Odonnell Road, on Odonnell, Pullman. Deputies received a report of a possible abandoned vehicle.

10:48 a.m.- Beeson Cut Off Road and Viola Road, Palouse. Deputies received a report of a white jeep in a snowbank, it was determined to be a previously reported vehicle that was stuck.

11:13 a.m.- South Whitman Avenue, Rosalia. Deputies responded to a report of an unattended death.

1:21 p.m.- Beeson Cut Off Road, Palouse. Deputies received a report of a vehicle blocking the roadway.

1:41 p.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Whitman County Sheriff, Colfax. Deputies requested a case number for a civil issue.

2:35 p.m.- Stueckle Road, Colfax. Deputies responded to a report of a slide off.

11:41 p.m.- North Grand Avenue, The hills on Grand, Pullman. Deputies assisted the Pullman PD with a call.

Dec. 11

12:19 a.m.- Pullman Airport Road, 3 miles past airport towards Moscow, Pullman. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle slide off.

12:43 a.m.- Pullman Airport Road, milepost 4, Pullman. Deputies responded to a report of a non-injury accident.

10:24 a.m.- Flat Road, residential, Pullman. Deputies responded to a report of a burglary alarm.

10:31 a.m.- Northeast Broadway Avenue, Malden. Deputies responded to a report of a subject with breathing problems.

1:14 p.m.- Wawawai Pullman Road and Flat Road, Pullman. Deputies responded to a report of a one vehicle rollover accident.

6:16 p.m.- SR 195, milepost 42.5, at Crumbaker, Colfax. Deputies assisted the WSP with a semi rollover accident.

Dec. 12

4:57 a.m.- East Houghton Street, Palouse. Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious light in the area. Deputy checked the area and did not find anything suspicious.

7:42 a.m.- Wawawai Pullman Road and Flat Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a one vehicle slide off.

9:00 a.m.- North Madison Street, Tekoa. Deputy responded to an APS referral.

9:34 a.m.- South Leslie Avenue, LaCrosse. Deputy responded to a report of a scam call.

12:27 p.m.- Dry Creek Road, Colfax. Deputy responded to a report of a disabled semi blocking the roadway.

1:10 p.m.- SR 194 and Wawawai Pullman Road, Pullman. Deputy, Fire and EMS responded to a one vehicle accident. No patient transports.

1:24 p.m.- Albion Road and Sr 195, Colfax. Deputy responded to provide traffic control for a tow company to remove a vehicle from a ditch.

3:00 p.m.- Pullman Airport Road and Odonnell Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of an erratically driven vehicle.

3:43 p.m.- Albion Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking the roadway.

6:12 p.m.- Whelan Road, Pullman. Deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch, it was gone when the deputy arrived.

6:36 p.m.- North D Street, Albion. Deputy responded to a report of an aggressive dog.

8:50 p.m.- Wawawai Road, Clarkston. Deputy responded to a report of a camper t hat was stolen. The Deputy determined the camper was towed earlier in the day.

8:59 p.m.- Grove Road, Endicott. Deputy and EMS responded to a welfare check, the subject was contacted and was ok. No patient transport.
