Cancer fundraiser brings in over $14,000

PULLMAN — The Pullman Moose Lodge hosted their eleventh annual Beyond Pink Purse Auction Friday, Nov. 18 at Zeppoz in Pullman raising $14,370.

Organizer Ron Morgan, and his wife started the fundraiser in 2010, in November breast cancer awareness month.

Morgan explained that he and his wife do the fundraiser with the Pullman Moose Lodge, “We called it the Pink Pancake feed and purse auction,” Morgan said, “we realized that pink pancakes didn’t look edible,” noting that the name has just stuck.
