Bishop Boulevard resurfacing project

TIB awards over $500,000 grant for resurfacing

PULLMAN — The City of Pullman was awarded a $554,331 grant by the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) to help fund a Bishop Boulevard resurfacing project planned for the summer of 2023.

As one of 26 projects awarded statewide under t he TIB’s Arterial Preservation Program (APP), the project’s scope is to resurface a one mile stretch on Bishop Boulevard from Fairmount Drive to Main Street/State Route 270. Work for the project will concentrate on the main travel lanes, with select treatment only of the existing two-way left turn lane.
