Free event helps local high schoolers explore careers

MOSCOW — Palouse Pathways is hosting an event for high schoolers to explore a wide range of careers, Sunday, Nov. 6 from 2-4 p.m. at 1912 Center 412 East Third Street in Moscow.

The Palouse Pathways’ Career Exploration Course is designed to help students find careers that fit their skills, strengths, and interests. The course is based on YouScience, a tool that assesses students’ aptitudes and helps them explore career and college options.

Students will have access to the YouScience free of charge, and will have access to it for ten years to retest and revisit possible careers. Palouse Pathways will also provide a one-on-one follow up session with a mentor for students interested in further exploring the careers they’re interested in.

Registration is required and the course will be closed to twenty students. There will be additional sessions offered in the future and around the region.
