Other members of the team are Randy Wiggins, left, who placed eighth in the state, and Lee Hames. Bothman, Quinton Booker Connel, Gordon Lenhart of Deer Park and Scott Andrews of Prosser will represent the state at the national finals in Kansas City Oct. 9-14.

The Colfax Band.
The band held a meeting and rehearsal last Monday evening, the first held since July. Since Prof. Read left the band has been seeking a new director, and Prof. Brinsmead, from Ft. Keogh, Mont., has been secured for the place.
The membership will be about the same as formerly, as also the instrumentation. In connection with the band there will be conducted a string orchestra, also under the leadership of Prof. Brinsmead, who is a very fine violin player.
