Palouse Days slated for this weekend

Celebrate with Palouse all day Saturday

PALOUSE - Palouse is hosting their annual Palouse Days all day Saturday, Sept. 17.

Events kick off at 6 a.m. at the Lions Club, West Main Street, with a Pancake Breakfast $5 donation until 10 a.m.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Palouse Memorabilia Display from Don and Teresa Myott's collection will be available to view. As well as Roy Chatters Newspaper and Printing Museum.

Also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Lions Club is hosting its 39th annual Car Show at the City Park, 490 West Main Street. There is a $10 entry fee per car. The show is open to the public.

At 10 a.m. there will be the Downtown Palouse Parade, and world-famous Lions Club burgers at the Lions Block Building. After the parade, there will be an Egg Toss in front of Needful things, 220 East Main Street, and a Pet Costume Contest in front of the TLC Clinic, 315 East Main Street.

At noon attendees can join in the Duck Race at the Lions Building. The race is followed at 2 p.m. by the Barley Bar Relay.

The day will end with live music at the Palouse Caboose, 110 North Beach Street.
