Dickinson named Rosalia pool manager

ROSALIA — The local public pool has a new manager.

As the pool manager, Piper Dickinson, 38, will coordinate activities at the pool and adjacent park.

Dickinson grew up in Oakesdale, and has lived in Rosalia for the past 20 years. She served on the Whitman County Park District No. 5 from 2015-18.

“I wasn’t into the politics or numbers at the pool. I was playing with the idea, and they called me," Dickinson said of her new job. "I didn’t want the pool to close so I came back.”

As someone who loves the park, Dickinson takes her title seriously.
