Greenway Trail group seeks input

Pedestrian, cyclist route connects park to Palouse River

 


COLFAX — The city is seeking community input as it moves forward with the Greenway Trail.

The Greenway Trail is a proposed pedestrian and cyclist route that would stretch from the intersection of Main and Cooper streets to Eells Park, following the shaded western shore of the South Fork Palouse River.

According to Colfax Chamber of Commerce Director Molly Keogh, the trail’s purposes are manifold.

“I believe that trails and parks enhance the quality of life in any community,” Keogh said. “This will connect both hotels in town and will give visitors and nice walking path.”
