Garfield-Palouse graduates receive scholarships

PALOUSE — Several Garfield-Palouse graduates racked up thousands of dollars in scholarships as they head into community colleges and universities.

Here are the scholarships that were awarded:

Myles Bowechop, attending Washington State University — Alli Bennett Memorial Scholarship ($500), Garfield Community Church, Garfield Christian Fellowship, Palouse Federated Church and GarPal YoungLife: Life Lessons Award ($250), Viking Crew ($100), Garfield-Palouse Performing Arts Boosters ($500), Living Scholarship of Ben Perkins ($750), Klallam Language Program Grant ($250).
