COLFAX – The Perkins House will host speeder rides from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 19, as part of Railroad Days.

Rides last one hour and will travel from the Perkins House to Mockonema and back.

Only 92 tickets were available; they were sold out within two weeks of announcing the event.

“There are going to be 9-10 speeder cars for our event. We have been planning this event for three years,” Perkins House Coordinator Nancy Rothwell said. “It was three years ago that I approached the speeder club but then COVID-19 happened so we had to cancel. We are very excited.”
