Rotarians report successful breakfast

COLFAX — The Colfax Rotary Club is reporting its youth baseball breakfast fundraiser last month as a success.

The Little League event raised more than $6,500 to support youth baseball during its breakfast last month, club officials reported during its June 1 meeting.

Thrifty Grandmother’s, 118 N. Main St., donated $1,000 toward the Little League, as well.

Meanwhile, Rotarians are also mowing the fields and helping upgrade Little League dugouts.

In other business, Rotarians heard a report on how their annual fireworks sales promotion is progressing.
