Event created to help promote the history of the town
ALBION — The Guy Albion Society is resuming its annual Pie Social after a two-year hiatus on Saturday, June 11.
The event runs from 3-5 p.m. in the Albion Community Building, 310 N. F St.
“This upcoming event will be our 40th pie social. We haven’t had it for two years because of COVID,” Guy Albion Society President Craig Whitney of Albion said.
The event is open to everyone and the social will feature folk music from the Pioneer Ramblers.
“This event is a fund-raiser to support our museums and newsletter. People are kind enough to donate pies. We serve pies ala mode, too,” Whitney said.
