LIBERTY LAKE - Zachary Cooper led the Bulldogs charge in the 2B District 7 Championship meet at Ridgeline High School on Fridy and Saturday, May 20 and 21.
Cooper, a freshman, tied for first place in boys pole vault after clearing 10-00.00. Davenport junior Brenick Soliday cleared the same height.
Cooper's efforts helped the Bulldog boys finish sixth in the meet with 57.5 points. Davenport won the boys team title with 170 points.
The Colfax girls racked up 63 team points en route to a third-place finish. St. George's won with 180 points.
The neighboring Liberty (Spangle) athletes finished behind Colfax in both boys and girls.
The Lancer boys were sixth with 38.5 points, the girls fifth with 59 points.
The Top 3 placers in advanced to the state 2B meet at Eastern Washington University in Cheney on this Thursday through Saturday.
