Underdogs top Napavine, Northwest Christian to play in state semifinals
ADNA - The underdog Colfax boys baseball team overcame two higher-ranked teams to reach the state 2B semifinals this Friday, May 27.
The No. 13-ranked Bulldogs will face No. 1-ranked Toutle Lake at 7 p.m. at the Ridgefield Complex in Ridgefield.
If Colfax wins, the Bulldogs will play for the state title at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28. The would face the winner of the Brewster vs. Jenkins (Chewelah) game.
The loser of each game will play for third place at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Bulldogs reached the game by topping Northwest Christian and Napavine on the diamond Saturday, May 21, in Adna.
