Airman James B. Knopes, son of Mr. Mrs. Joseph G. Knopes of Colfax, completed his U.S. Air Force basic training at the Air Training Command's Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. He has bee assigned to Lowry AFB, Colo., for training in the supply field. Airman Knopes is a 1971 graduate of Colfax High school.
