Wildcat girls make playoffs

COLTON — The Colton Wildcats girls fastpitch softball team is advancing in the district playoffs.
The No. 4-ranked local girls will face the No. 8-ranked Inchelium Hornets on Saturday, May 20, in the 1B District 6/7/9 semifinals.
Gametime is 1 p.m. in Spokane’s Franklin Park.
The girls reached the semifinal by topping Wilbur-Creston, 9-7, in their district opener on Monday, May 16.
