The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office answered the following calls for service from May 10-16:

 


May 10

1:12 a.m. – North Madison Street, Tekoa — Deputy responded for a 911 call. Deputy determined there was no emergency.

11:42 a.m. – Milepost 47, State Highway 195, Colfax — Undersheriff requested a case for a stolen vehicle.

12:31 p.m. – Johnson Road, Johnson — Deputy responded for a report of cows on the road. The owner was contacted.

2:47 p.m. – North Mill Street, Colfax — Sheriff’s front office provided finger print services.

3:50 p.m. – 411 N. Mill St., Colfax — Evidence custodian requested a case.

4:33 p.m. – Pandora Road and State Highway 195, Rosalia — Deputy responded for a report of a vehicle driving erratically.

6:30 p.m. — Grove Road, Endicott — Deputy responded for a welfare check.

May 11

8:31 a.m. – Auvil Wagner Road, Farmington — Officer requested a case number for a junk vehicle.

9:01 a.m. – Sand Buckler Drive, St. John Hardware, Pullman — Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a adandoned vehicle.

9:40 a.m. – State Highway 270, Spectrum, Pullman — Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

1:38 p.m. – 411 Mill Street, Colfax — Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for an agency assist.

3:47 p.m. – Oakesdale Road and State Highway 195, Oakesdale — Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a sprayer vs. pick-up crash. Call was handled by Washington State Patrol.

5:10 p.m. – Garfield — Sheriff’s Office assisted Garfield police with a call.

7:03 p.m. – Lamb and Jordan Knott Roads, Endicott — Sheriff’s Office responded to a report.

8:54 p.m. – North Hill Avenue, LaCrosse High School, LaCrosse — Sheriff’s office responded to a report of students speeding and running stop signs after school.

10:22 p.m. – Location not reported — Sheriff’s office received a report of a civil issue.

11:51 p.m. – South I Street, Colfax — Sheriff’s Office requested a case number for a welfare check.

May 12

2:52 a.m. – Depot Street, Colton — Sheriff’s Deputy received a report of a suspicious subject by a garage. Deputy responded and was unable to locate the subject.

6:55 a.m. – Sheriff’s Deputy received a report of a white sheep dog runing loose. Deputy unable to locate the dog.

7:20 a.m. – State Highway 195 at Parvin Road, Colfax — Deputy arrested Bashir, Abdullah Amaan, 40, on an out-of-state warrant.

11:28 a.m. – Johnson Road, Colton — Deputy received a report of two vicious dogs. Deputy contacted the reporting party.

11:44 a.m. – West McCoy Street, Oakesdale — Deputy requested a case number for DARE.

12:37 p.m. – Wawawai Road, Colton — Deputy received a report of a possible abandoned vehicle.

3:36 p.m. – Tekoa — Deputy received a report of a suicidal subject.

9:30 p.m. – West Railroad Avenue, Tekoa — Deputy received a report of a suspicious subject in a vehicle.

11:12 p.m. – State Highway 195 at Danaher Road, Colfax — Deputy pursued a vehicle.

11:41 p.m. – First Street, Endicott — Deputy Received a report of a possible trespass.

May 13

6:55 a.m. – State Highway 25 at Rock Springs Road; Lacrosse. Deputy arrested Cliff R. Heilman Mueller, 43, of LaCrosse.

7:01 a.m. – Ralph Henning Road, Thornton — Deputy responded to a parking problem.

10:45 a.m. – South Drake Road, Rosalia — Deputy responded for mutiple 911 hang-up calls.

12 p.m. – Endicott SW Road and Union Flat Creek Road, Endicott —. Disabled vehicle in the ditch.

12:17 p.m. – First Street, Endicott — Deputy arrested Vincent D. Lovejoy, 53, of Endicott.

2:56 p.m. – North Mill Street, Colfax — Sheriff’s front office provided fingerprint services.

5:23 p.m. – North Madison Street, Tekoa — Deputy and EMS responded for a missing person’s report. The subject was later located.

5:26 p.m. – Schlee Road and Steptoe Canyon Road, Colton — Deputy responded for an abandoned vehicle.

6:53 – South Whitman Avenue, Rosalia — Deputy responded for a 911 call. Deputy determined there was no emergency.

11:57 p.m. – State Highway 195 at L. Schultheis Road, Uniontown — Deputy responded to assist Washington State Patrol.

May 14

10:21 a.m. – Lange Road, Garfield — Deputy responded for a report of a stolen motorcycle.

10:48 a.m. – South Bryant Boulevard, St. John — Deputy responded for a theft report.

7:17 p.m. – North Main Street, Colfax — Deputy responded for a disabled vehicle in a no parking zone.

7:32 p.m. – East Wall Street at North Main Street, Colfax — Deputy requested a case.

8:41 p.m. – North Main Street, Colfax — Deputies arrested Tucker K. Hill, 20, of Pullman.

May 15

9:39 a.m. – North Mill Street, Colfax — Sheriff’s Deputy requested a case.

12:52 p.m. – 1001 Mullen Road, Colfax — Deputy responded for a theft report.

1:53 p.m. – 3352 Story Road, Pullman — Deputy responded for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

2:46 p.m. – North Madison Street, Tekoa — Deputy responded for a 911 call. Deputy determined there was no emergency.

3:40 p.m. – North Palouse Road, Colfax — Deputy and the fire department responded for an ATV fire. The fire was extinguished.

4:09 p.m. – Dean Street, Endicott — Deputy responded for a report of a suicidal subject. The subject was contacted and was fine.

6:07 p.m. – South Whitman Avenue at East Sixth Street, Rosalia — Deputy cited and Released Eddie J. Beyer, 49, of Rosalia.

6:24 p.m. – West Adams Street, Garfield — Deputy responded for a 911 call. Deputy contacted the subject and determined she was fine.

7:06 p.m. – State Highway 27, Garfield — Deputy requested a case.

8:23 p.m. – West Short Street, St. John — Deputy and EMS responded for a custodial argument. One juvenile was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

8:29 p.m. – Milepost 21, Wawawai Road, Clarkston — Deputy responded for a report of loose cattle.

May 16

6:33 a.m. – North Main Street, Albion — Deputy responded for a report of a vehicle driving through a lawn.

7:55 a.m. – South Star Avenue, LaCrosse — Deputy, EMS, and LifeFlight responded to an accidental gunshot wound. The patient was transported to the hospital via LifeFlight.

8:07 a.m. — Morlry Road, Colfax — Deputy responded for an abandoned vehicle.

11:26am – State Highway 27; Palouse. Sheriff’s Deputy responded for a report of property damage.

11:53 a.m. – State Highway 195, Colfax — Deputy assisted a citizen with a broken bicycle.

1:25 p.m. – Milepost 26 State Highway 26, Colfax — Deputy responded for an erratically driven vehicle.

2:44 p.m. – County Club Road, Pullman — Deputy responded for a welfare check.

6:32 p.m. – North Main Street, Colfax — Deputy requested a case.

7:15 p.m. – Hume Road, Colfax — Deputy responded for a one vehical crash.

9:10 p.m. – Milepost 26, State Highway 26 LaCrosse — Deputy responded to asssisted Washington State patrol.
