Chewelah, Wash., May 7. - An extraordinary electrical storm occured yesterday, in which a number of people were more or less injured. The most unfortunate victims were Lutie McCormack and Miss Laura Boiler, aged 16 and 14, respectively. They were returning from school, and took refuge under a large pine tree. A bolt of lightning struck the tree, and the girls were knocked senseless. Soon after, a neighbor saw Miss Boiler aimlessly wandering near his house, and he and others instituted a search.
