Teen night set for Garfield Library
April 28, 2022
GARFIELD – Teen night will be hosted for the first time at the Garfield Library at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 29.
Teen night will provide snacks and entertainment for attendees. The event is free and available for tweens and teens ages 10 and up.
“Garfield is pretty small and I just wanna provide a safe hangout space for teens to hangout at,” branch library manager Sarah Anderson said.
Roblox, Minecraft and many other games will be available for tweens and teens to play.
“It’s an opportunity for them to hang out with their friends and away from their parents,” Anderson said. “I am hoping to get more teens to come hang out at the library before the summer. I just want to keep it chill and fun.”
Additional teen nights will be held next month around Whitman County:
• May 21 — 7 p.m. at St. John Library
• May 23 — 6 p.m. at Oakesdale Library•
May 24 — 4:30 p.m. at Tekoa Library
