Garfield Gun Club hosts shooting event Saturday

GARFIELD — Firearms enthusiasts will be hitting the Garfield Gun Club range Saturday aiming to take home $1,500 in prize money as well as trophies.

Squadding starts at 7:30 a.m.; shooting at 9 a.m., officials said.

Awards will be presented in several divisions, including 50 Singles, 50 Handicap and 50 Doubles; with A, B, C, D, Lady and Junior classes.

Trophies to be presented will include Champion, Long Yardage and Short Yardage, officials said.

There are entry fees to participate, officials said.
