Schoesler getting reacquainted

RITZVILLE – With the close of the 2022 legislative session, Sen. Mark Schoesler is getting re-acquainted with constituents in-person back home in Eastern Washington.

Last week, the Ritzville Republican hit the road, traveling to Pasco, Moses Lake and Pullman.

"After spending most of 2022 in Olympia for the recently ended legislative session, it's been great to be back home in Ritzville, where I'm focusing on farming and catching up with friends and others around town and the 9th District," Schoesler said.

On Monday, March 14, the senator was the keynote speaker at the Pasco Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

"I gave a report on the legislative session and answered questions," he said. "It was nice to see some of my friends in the Pasco area."

On Wednesday, he joined Rep. Mary Dye, R-Pomeroy, Rep. Tom Dent, R-Moses Lake, and Sen. Judy Warnick, R-Moses Lake, discussing the Odessa Aquifer with state Department of Ecology officials in Moses Lake.

That evening, he participated in a virtual meeting discussing Williams Lake Sewer District No. 2 south of Cheney.

On Thursday, Schoesler drove to Pullman.

"I drove to Pullman to have lunch with the management team at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories," he said. "Then, I met with Pullman Mayor Glenn Johnson, who drove me around town to point out changes going on in the city.

"I also met with Whitman County Commissioner Tom Handy.
