Police, EMTs called to site

PALOUSE – Police were recently called to a construction site twice, once for attempted theft and one for a drug overdose.

Thieves tried to enter a trailer used by the construction company, where a vet clinic is being built, according to Interim Police Chief Joel Anderson’s report to the City Council last week.

The trailer door was damaged by an attempt to get in, he said, estimating repair costs at $500.
