Theda Marie 'Tedi' Schauble

March 30, 1930 – Feb. 23, 2022

Our beautiful mother was born March 30, 1930, to Donald Albert Currier and Addie Luelling Stevens Currier at Forest, ID. She passed away peacefully February 23, 2022, at the Community Pride Assisted Living in St. John, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings; Charles Lewis Currier, Donald Alden Currier, and Lauretta Adaline Currier Maxey.

She attended school in Colfax where she graduated in 1948. October 20, 1948, she married John Francis "Jack" Danaher, from Colfax. They divorced in 1956.

Tedi married Albert Eugene "Shorty" Schauble on July 12, 1958, at Superior Montana. They lived in St. John where Shorty worked in the family business, Inland Empire Milling Company, later purchasing the Company from his brothers, Roland, and Howard. When their children were raised, Mom worked in the family business as a secretary.

Tedi was a member of the United Methodist Church and volunteered for many years. She was a proud mother and loved following the interests and activities of her family members. She was a WSU Cougar Club member and attended many of the football and basketball games. Cooking for her family gave her great joy, starting the day with a big breakfast and having evening dinners together was very important to her. She loved to be surrounded by her family! Her holiday dinner table always had a touch of elegance and beauty. Mom and Dad loved the company of friends, and dancing at the Elks Club in Colfax was one of their many passions. They enjoyed their Friday evening couples golf together. She took up snow skiing later in life to keep up with her children. She also had a passion for working in her beautiful flower gardens. Many summer weekends were spent boating with friends, the Webb, Fitzgerald, Carrick, Leifer, McBride and the Cole families. Mom and Dad enjoyed fishing trips, cruises and vacations to Hawaii with the Vance and Bailey families. Her love of Priest Lake, at their condo at Linger Longer, was her retreat and her happy place!

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband Albert, of 63 years, five children, son Tim (Heidi) Danaher, daughter Luanne Danaher Schierman, twins Sheri (Barry) Baker and Jerry (Bev) Schauble, son David (Julie) Schauble, 16 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

The Schauble Family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Community Pride and all who cared for Mom these past few years. Your love, compassion and empathy cannot be overstated. Thank you for always being there for her.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the St. John Golf & Country Club, St. John Fire Department, or the St. John-Endicott Schools Foundation.

Shorty's address is PO Box 118 St. John WA 99171
