Denise Kendall, Tacoma, spent the weekend with Doreen and Tom Riedner. The two women usually try to spend time together in February each year to celebrate their shared birthday. Kendall also visited with her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Angela Broeckel.

Members and friends of Country Bible Church met in the church basement for a service Sunday to assist with making 575 chili soup bags for Homestead Ministries. Lunch was also served to about 30 volunteers afterward with birthday cake to honor the seven people in attendance with February birthdays.
